MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE:
Students in Grade 6-age 19 will have the opportunity to learn the art of musical theatre, participate in rehearsals, and perform in a full-scale musical production. Through auditions, cast members will be selected for roles in each session’s musical, culminating in a final performance at the end of the session.
This program allows first time Musical Theatre performers to work with more experienced cast members. While, all registered receive a role in the show, each person must audition for their role, as auditioning is an invaluable experience and it helps the directorate know where the performer will shine the most. Cast Members have the expectation to move quickly through the material, learning theatrical techniques, skill honing, time management, self-discipline, collaboration and self-discovery.
